Have your say on improving travel for everyone in a more inclusive and liveable city of Brighton & Hove

Brighton & Hove City Council is working to create a more inclusive, sustainable and liveable city where everyone can move around more healthily, safely, and easily. The aim is to continue to be a welcoming place to visit, live and work, and to provide safe, secure and accessible neighbourhoods with a transport network that works for everyone.

They are currently developing two plans which will help achieve these aims: a Local Transport Plan and a Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan.

Your views are invited on one or both of these plans. To share your views please complete the survey by 15 November 2021.

The Local Transport Plan will set out Brighton & Hove’s vision and priorities for transport and travel across the city to 2030 and what needs to be done to deliver them.

The Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan will present strategic walking and cycling networks and areas for improvements to encourage and support active travel in the city. Active travel is simply travelling in ways that are physically active like walking, wheeling (wheelchair / mobility aid), cycling or scooting for all, or part, of a journey.
