Tell us about your business

My name is Jennifer Moore, I am an illustrator and naturalist, and have produced a range of local pocketbooks to introduce locals and visitors to the amazing birdlife we have here in Sussex. I also run workshops on how to draw birds.

How does your business support nature and sustainable practices in the biosphere?

Our booklets are printed in Burgess Hill on FSC paper using vegetable-based inks, and are plastic-free.

What is your business doing to promote sustainable activity/development in The Living Coast?

Our booklets encourage an engagement with the landscape and birds, and are sold throughout the county in independent stores and wildlife centres. I promote retail sales rather than online so as to support gift shops and local businesses with high-quality, locally-produced birdwatching resources targeted to the locality and special spots here in Sussex.

How do you help spread awareness of The Living Coast and its values you share?

I am a keen blogger and very active on social media and I use these platforms to spread the word about The Living Coast.
