‘Get on yer bike!’ – with the Greater Brighton Cycle Challenge, Sunday 19th May

The Greater Brighton Cycle Challenge is a fantastic community event raising money for local good causes and celebrating cycling and the world-class environment that we live in.

The Living Coast have once again teamed up with local homeless charity Brighton Housing Trust to create a family event for all ages and abilities. Participants are welcome to take part just for fun or fund raise for a charity of their choice or Brighton Housing Trust. By partnering together at this event, we link our local social and environmental objectives and help good causes.

Take part in one of the cycling challenges on Sunday 19 May 2019 and discover the beauty of The Living Coast in one of the most eco-friendly ways possible. The rides have plenty of refreshment stops to help cyclists refuel and fill up water bottles (we don't offer single use plastic so please bring a bottle) and there is no need to pack a map as support team are on hand to help with any bike issues or just direct you on your way.

Hundreds of people turned up to join 'The Around The World Challenge' in 2018 and collectively rode a total of 40,075km! Will we make it around the world this year?

Cyclists can raise money either for BHT’s work to combat homelessness, including the First Base day centre that supports people who are sleeping rough or insecurely housed in Brighton and Hove, or for other local good causes of their choice. You can also register and take part just for fun!
