This maternity cover position is an opportunity to lead outdoor activities and gardening groups at Brighton & Hove Food Partnership.
Partnership Developer vacancy
City Food Share seek a candidate with a strong sales background and a passion for the cause. This commission-based role will expand the restaurant network for the Love Food Share Food campaign.
Outdoor food job opportunity
The Outdoor Classroom are hiring a food officer, to provide nature connection activities for urban children and adults. This varied role will include administrative work and cooking vegetarian group meals on an open fire. Closes 5th January 2024.
Changing Chalk Volunteers
Love being outdoors? Changing Chalk is a partnership of organisations working together towards a sustainable future for the eastern South Downs. Led by the National Trust, the partnership is restoring lost habitats, bringing histories to life and providing new experiences in the outdoors.

Conservation Group on Landport Bottom
Join us at Landport Bottom to look after this special area, doing practical tasks and surveys. Receive training, and learn about the rare species. Families welcome. Meet at the gate at the bottom of tumuli field and Old Racecourse Road. Every third Saturday of the month, 10am-1pm.
Volunteer with the Friends of South Downs
Friends of South Downs has plenty of opportunities including fundraising, area access, planning, recruitment and more. Open to people of all ages, abilities, skills and fitness levels. Help protect the landscape and heritage of the South Downs.
Help out at a community food project

Volunteering opportunities with Railway Land Wildlife Trust
There are opportunities to help out with wildlife surveys, guided walks, and some practical habitat management days. Railway Land is also looking for Dog Ambassador volunteers, engaging with people about positive dog behaviour on chalk grassland.
Lewes House Garden Project Support Worker
A part-time role to deliver therapeutic horticulture sessions and supporting adults in the beautiful gardens of Lewes House.

Saunders Park edible garden
Group accessible to all including those who wish to further their horticultural knowledge, as well as those wanting to improve their wellbeing. This is an accessible and sustainable garden, featuring a permaculture design, community orchard and wildlife pond. You don’t need any gardening experience.
