Step back in time with archaeologists and local landscape experts on a stroll around Waterhall, taking in historical features and looking at how the Downland landscape has changed over the decades, centuries and millenia.

NB: Postcode is inaccurate! Meet at Waterhall Ex-Golf Clubhouse, Saddlescombe Road (approx 400m past the Devil’s Dyke turn-off if coming from the A27 Hove roundabouts).

Pedestrian access – Across A27 footbridge from Green Ridge windmill to Waterhall Rugby Club then up the chalk track following the new fencing. Look for signage to event.
